Remodel Here respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. Our policy addresses proper procedures for submitting copyright infringement claims. We also outline how to respond to such claims.
Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)
If you believe content on Remodel Here infringes your copyrighted work, please send a written DMCA Takedown Notice to our Designated Agent. Your notice must include the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. Please provide specific details, such as a URL or a description of the work.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity. Include information reasonably sufficient to permit Remodel Here to locate the material on our site. A direct link to the content is best.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification Process
If we remove content in response to a DMCA Takedown Notice, the user who posted the material may submit a counter-notification. This allows the user to dispute the removal. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and its original location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Remodel Here may be found. You also agree to accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, Remodel Here will forward it to the original complaining party. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider within 10 business days of receiving the counter-notification, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringer Policy
Remodel Here will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We define a repeat infringer as a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than once. We also consider users who have had infringing material removed from their accounts multiple times.
